Palestinian Women in Decision-Making and Leadership Positions

The issue of women's participation in leadership and decision -making positions is one of the issues that sparked controversy over the past decades, due to the importance of empowering women in the highest positions, and equality between them and men in such opportunities based on the conviction that the process of comprehensive development and community construction requires effective participation from all society. With the different circumstances and challenges that Palestinian society went through, Palestinian women emphasized the effectiveness of their role as mothers and fighters, and they were able to prove their ability to fight all forms of struggle, whether political, social or military, but were they able, despite all these sacrifices, to reach their goal in leadership positions? This research tries to show the sacrifices of Palestinian women, and to investigate leadership positions and decision -making centers that they were able to reach today in the Palestinian reality. In this research, the descriptive method was used, and the most prominent results reached is that the proportion of women in the Palestinian cabinet is not only unstable, but the percentage has decreased significantly; This reality clearly shows the differences between women and men, despite the international laws did not distinguished between women and men gender or color.

The Relationship Between Management Skills and Job Satisfaction of Educators at Private Islamic Religious Colleges (PTKIS) in Jambi Province

This study was aimed at analyzing the relationship among management skills, leadership style, and interpersonal communication towards job satisfaction of the academic staff of private Islamic higher education either partially or simultaneously. Quantitative research was set up as the method of the research. The design of the research was survey research. The research was carried out at Private Islamic Universities in Jambi Province. The unit of analysis was the academic staff at Private Islamic Universities in Jambi Province. The population was 115 people. The samples were selected by using the total sampling technique. The hypothesis in this study was: management skills, leadership style, and interpersonal communication have a significant relationship either partially or simultaneously on the job satisfaction of academic staff. The hypothesis was tested by using the Pearson Product Moment Correlation technique analysis and multiple regression, with a significance level of 5 percent alpha (? = 0.05). The findings of the research showed that simultaneously, management skills, leadership style, and interpersonal communication have 44.8% relationship on job satisfaction of education.

Management Management of Halal Assurance System for Small and Medium Industry Products with Halal Certification

As a producer, quality and food safety are absolute things that every business owner must pay attention to for the products they produce. Small and Medium Industries engaged in the snack or processed food sector that guarantee their products with halal certificates are also required to maintain the existing halal guarantee system with a system recommended by LPPOM MUI, the established halal guarantee system. This study aims to determine the implementation of the management of the halal assurance system for halal-certified small and medium industrial products in Rejang Lebong. Field research and a qualitative approach to data collection methods through interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive by thinking inductively to analyze data that has been collected previously and then described in order to get conclusions from the research. The producer guarantees the halalness of each material used by adjusting it to the materials previously registered with LLPOM MUI. The halal guarantee system implemented by LPPOM for small and medium industries is different from large companies. Company standards, namely halal policies, materials and products. The production process is carried out in a practical and simple way. The various components in the halal guarantee system are limited to the functions performed by business owners in carrying out their work.

The policy of the head of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion in appointing Madrasa heads has not been able to improve Islamic education services in Jambi province. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the appointment of Head of Madrasa by the Head of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion to improve Islamic education services in Jambi Province is in accordance with the competencies possessed by each head of Madrasa through the circular of the Secretary General of the Ministry of Religion. implementation of appointments by preparing plans, by conducting job analysis and job analysis. Both of these analyzes were carried out to obtain data regarding the formation of vacant madrasas. Implementation of selection and for appointment by the Head of the Office of the Ministry of Religion of Jambi Province with selection divided into two stages, namely administrative selection and academic selection, after administrative and academic selection is carried out, then the implementation of determining the appointment of madrasa heads, should be carried out jointly by Kanwil and Baperjakat. However, what happened was the opposite. The role of Baperjakat sometimes gets less attention and the leaders make their own policies. then in the implementation of administrative selection there are requirements that have not been fulfilled in the Regulation of the Minister of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia in the decision of the director general of Islamic Education number 5851 of 2018 and its amendment Number 3932 of 2021 concerning technical guidelines for selection and appointment of Madrasah Heads, namely having a Certificate of Completion of Education and Training ( STTPP). The conclusion of the research is that the policy of appointing madrasah heads by the Head of the Office of the Ministry of Religion of Jambi Province has not been maximized and has not accommodated the opinions and views of Baperjakat and has not implemented the Regulation of the Minister of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia on the decision of the Director General of Islamic Education which has an impact on Islamic education services that have not been fulfilled properly

This paper conveys about the Existence of Higher Education through Public Relations, Competitiveness and Quality Assurance Systems. Higher Education cannot develop and advance without these three factors, Higher Education cannot possibly grow on its own, become great on its own without involving the community, competitiveness and quality that are continuously improved. The research methodology used in this paper is a Literature Study with Content Analysis from various Literature on the Existence and Role of Higher Education. The results and discussion in this study are that the existence of higher education can be achieved if it is carried out by strengthening public relations with community service activities and public relations activities. Improving Competitiveness by producing Graduates who are Professional, Skilled and Ready to Work. Improving the Quality of Higher Education in a sustainable manner in accordance with the times. Higher Education has many positive impacts on the community environment with the ability to produce graduates who are ready to work, graduates who are professional at work, graduates who are capable of being mobilizers in the community and graduates who have personalities that can be role models.
