Teknik Komunikasi Persuasif Pendamping Pembina Anak di LPKS ABH Anak Bangsa

Abstract
Based on data from the Correctional Institution (BAPAS) Pos Bapas Curup, there has been a significant increase in the number of cases of children in conflict with the law in Rejang Lebong. In 2019 there were 118 cases plus another 71 cases in 2020. The Social Welfare Institution for Children in Conflict with the Law (LPKS ABH) Anak Bangsa, has an obligation to provide guidance to children in conflict with the law both as perpetrators and as victims. This study aims to determine the persuasive communication techniques of child mentors at the Social Welfare Institution for Children in Conflict with the Law (LPKS ABH) Anak Bangsa. This study uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with LPKS mentors, participative observation, and documentation. The results of this study reveal that the persuasive communication techniques carried out by LPKS mentors have planning and staging in shaping the mindset and behavior of children in conflict with the law who are undergoing coaching at LPKS ABH Anak Bangsa. This research is expected to serve as a reference in improving the coaching of children in conflict with the law at LPKS ABH Anak Bangsa including allocating more resources, advanced training, developing guidelines, scheduled evaluations, collaborating with related institutions, and disseminating research results.
